yoshiki*lisa – Destin Histoire

Here is Destin Histoire, I took parts of the translation from Anime Lyrics and Suisei.

yoshiki*lisa (Risa Yoshiki) is an idol and actress. You might know her from Go-busters as Hiromu’s sister. Anyway, this song was the opening to some anime called “Gosick,” but I don’t know anything about it.

I translated the French in the translation because it’s actually important in this song and not a gimmick like in Wonderful Journey.

Some minor notes on the French:
saison – season, time
histoire – story, it can also mean “history,” but for this song I thought “story” fit better
mystification – mystification/mystery/etc. I just left it as is
maintenant – present, now
la clef a verite – “the key of truth” I don’t know if this is a regular phrase or not
reposer – rest/repose/calm/etc. I used gentle here because it seemed to work better

Sakura Gakuin – Wonderful Journey

Here is Sakura Gakuin’s Wonderful Journey, translation is by idoLyrics.

Here are some notes on pastebin that you will want to read, probably very important to understanding some things.

I really like this song, it might actually be my favorite Sakura Gakuin song so far (excluding the amazing Babymetal, of course.) It’s a song about going on a trip across the entire world to meet everybody. It’s very catchy and does a good job of giving an “international” feel.

Expect a release of Sakura Gakuin’s performance on the Hot Stage at Tokyo Idol Festival 2012 sometime soon, also. They performed Very Shuvi and Wonderful Journey.

Also, sorry the releases have been a little spare recently. I’ve been a bit more busy with school starting up and I was working on timing something pretty large over the weekend (and being pretty lazy.)

I should mention, this is a 720p SSTV rip.

Kamen Rider Girls – Saite

Here is Saite, translation is by icepath.

I didn’t use Magenta’s translation because of how good it is. I felt like it would be kind of in poor taste if I took that and edited it when it’s better than anything I could probably do. If they want to Aesir could easily sub it on their own as well.

Here is where I would put all of the jokes about how horrible Kamen Rider Girls are, but as much as I like to rag on them they aren’t really that bad. They’ve especially proven themselves to me now with how great the Wizard insert songs are. Besides, if I really disliked them would I have actually bought this single?

Morning Musume – As For One Day

So I heard that Morning Musume just turned 15 years old, that’s pretty nuts. I decided to sub something Morning Musume related to celebrate.

Here’s As For One Day, translation is by Kiwi Musume. The RAW I used is a 720p encode from the Morning Musume Blu-Ray PV Collection.

This is one of my favorite Morning Musume songs and it turned out surprisingly easy to do. I don’t think I ever subbed something this quickly. Well, happy 15th birthday Morning Musume. Hopefully you’ll have many more to come.
